Overview

Kingston University London is located on the outskirts of London, Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames. Over 22,000students are studying at Kingston University with 3,212 non-UK students from 143 countries. The University offers a wide range of programmes, including pre-degree, BAs, MAs, PhDs and exchange programmes. Kingston’s courses are developed by industry experts and offer the appropriate skills required for the workplace. Kingston offers international students a range of support services that are needed to make their international experience as fulfilling as possible, from a free airport-pick service, to accommodation services, to career advice and alumni service after graduation.

Services for International Students

The International Student Advisory Centre offers help and advice with any questions or problems you may have during your time at Kingston University. It provides support on a wide range of matters, including:
  • immigration matters, such as obtaining or extending your student visa or travelling abroad
  • working in the UK, during your studies and after you graduate
  • life outside study, such as social activities and accommodation
  • cultural differences and living in the UK

Accommodation

Kingston University has 7 halls of residence. Chancellor's, Walkden and Rennie are all based at the Kingston Hill campus. Middle Mill is adjacent to Knights Park campus, while Clayhill and Seething Wells are on opposite sides of Surbiton. Finally, there is Kingston Bridge House (KBH) which is situated on the edge of Bushy Park at the Hampton Wick end of Kingston Bridge, London. Kingston University runs and operates a "headed tenancy" scheme in which Kingston university sublets local properties to students from landlords.

Campus

Kingston University has four campuses, each with its own character:
  • Penrhyn Road – the hub of student activity in Kingston
  • Kingston Hill – a modern hillside campus set in landscaped gardens
  • Knights Park – a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in a riverside setting
  • Roehampton Vale – a modern building close to Richmond Park
  • There is a full range of on-campus health facilities at Kingston University with doctors, nurses and dentists. All students have full access to the health centre and all health care fees are fully covered by the National Health Service for full time students.


  • Location

    The University is based in Kingston upon Thames, a busy riverside town on the borders of London and Surrey. Central London is 25 minutes away by train. A historic town centre packed with shops, bars and clubs. Royal parks and the River Thames are within walking distance.
