Overview

The University of the West of England (UWE) is the lagest provider of higher education in the southwest of England. It improved its scores on the National Studnet Survey and now ranks in the top half of the country. The University of the West of England (UWE) is a modern, growing university in the thriving harbourside city of Bristol. UWE Bristol is one of Britain's most popular universities, with around 30,000 students and 3,000 staff and is the largest provider of Higher Education in the South West of England. Location

The city of Bristol is centrally located in the South West of England with good road and rail links to other parts of the UK and an International Airport on the outskirts of Bristol with regular routes to most major European destinations. Bristol is located just 90 minutes from London and just 15 minutes from the neighbouring city of Bath – a world heritage site.

Services for International Students

The University of West England provides a pick up service, collecting students from the airport in either July and September and bringing them to UWE. The university also provides orientation workshops for new students and presessional english courses to acclimatize international students to life in the UK.
